Things To Remember Before Sending Your Cat To Boarding

If you have travel strategies for the holiday or perhaps have business meetings to attend, you cannot always take along your cat. With no home to care for them, the only resort is car boarding facilities available at present. To know more about cat boarding facilities, visit tyvy.com/cat-boarding/.

Given the busy lives that people lead, some cat lovers and trained pet sitters have come up with boarding facilities for cats where you can leave your cat when you cannot attend to them at home. If they are licensed and trained to ride your cat (s), you can be sure that they are in good hands.

Before you let your cat adjust in dorms, here are some things you should remember.

Wrap the food they

There are times when changes in types of food at the hostel can give your cat a stomachache. To be on the safe side and prevent complications, consider packing food for them in the bag and a separate container. Let the guards know what to feed them to prevent complications such nausea or vomiting. This reduces the difficulty in preparing meals for them, especially when there are multiple cats to attend.

Determine drugs (if any)

If your cat has consumed drugs for some reason, make sure that you have marked separately so that the caregiver can distinguish between them and feed them accordingly. Do not avoid them, thinking that it would not be a problem for one or two days. A set routine for your cat might be disturbed if you do.
